SUBWAY®Restaurants — Establishment and food at 237 Kennedy Drive, Putnam, Connecticut.

I am appalled by the treatment I just received from whom I believe to be one of the franchise owners or a manager.

I ordered 2 foot long meatball subs, one for my girlfriend and one for myself. The “wrap specialist” was polite to my girlfriend and gave her extra meatballs. She then handed my sub off to a subordinate to continue making.

I continued my order with the typical vegetables which I like on my grinders. The franchise owner wearing the “wrap specialist” shirt became agitated that I was adding vegetables to my grinder and told me in utmost hostility that I was not allowed to have vegetables on my grinder and that she was going to charge me extra for that. She said that they do not give vegetables free of charge on a meatball grinder.

Thankfully the subordinate had already rung up my meal without the extra cost, as I was completely ready to take my business elsewhere and leave her with the sandwiches to write off as spoilage.

I have always gotten vegetables on my meatball grinders no questions asked. In fact, corporate advertisements have meatball grinders pictured with vegetables included.

The lady manager must be racist against white men, as no one else has given me problems like this, and she was so kind and polite to my girlfriend giving her extra meat.

I am extremely offended by this hurtful treatment and will cease business with this franchise. I’d rather give my money to someone else that knows how to treat customers properly. They are putting the subway name to shame and I’d like to report them to consumer affairs and news stations.
